Andrew Bramhall FCILT FIOM GCGI FCMI
As Managing Director of IAS, Andrew has ample experience developing substantial and successful businesses from inception. Since 1990 he has 'built' his haulage company into an ISO-registered company.
Andrew relies heavily upon the effective use of business intelligence, ensuring that his operations are informed by current and accurate data, enabling him to make the correct decisions at the correct time. He is proactive in his use of big data and strongly encourages innovative analysis to inform his business strategies. This appreciation and his twenty five years of operational and strategic management have allowed Andrew to emerge in position of strength despite the demanding and difficult UK economic situations his companies have experienced.
With his highly-tuned skills of commercial awareness, strong leadership, collaboration and forward-thinking, Andrew's work and experience has been recognised, by the professional bodies of which he is a member; Andrew is a Chartered Logistician, holds a Graduateship of the City and Guilds Institute; and holds fellowships with the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport; the Chartered Management Institute; the Institute of Operations Management, and the Institute of Leadership and Management.
One of Andrew's main passions is playing the guitar; he has a real penchant for music and has been known to write the odd song over the years. Despite his busy schedule Andrew would love to be able to record some of his own songs in his own analogue recording studio, which he is currently developing.
Andrew is a bit of a film buff and loves nothing better than relaxing at home with the family and a good film.
